Event: Why Accountability is Key to a Successful Just Transition
The 29th session of the Conference of the Parties (COP29) to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) is being held on November 11-22 in Baku, Azerbaijan.
As a COP29 side event, Ibrahim Pam, the World Bank Inspection Panel incoming chairperson, will be moderating a session titled "Why Accountability is Key to a Successful Just Transition." The event will explore the urgent need for increased accountability in climate finance as development finance institutions, like the World Bank Group, increase their commitments to climate lending.
