Orsolya Székely began serving as the Accountability Mechanism Secretary/Head of the Dispute Resolution Service (DRS) in 2021, after the World Bank Board took a momentous decision to enhance its accountability function—eligible complainants now have the choice of undergoing a compliance process through the Inspection Panel or exploring mediation through the DRS. The DRS was set up from scratch under the umbrella of an Accountability Mechanism Secretariat that Orsolya led for the first three years.
