Rabi Thapa

Rabi Thapa is a communications consultant with 25 years experience of working with stakeholders to draft, edit and disseminate knowledge products. As a freelance consultant he has worked with a diverse range of clients, including multiple UN and CGIAR agencies in the field of sustainable development, the Council of Europe, and research institutions such as the Institute of Development Studies, UK. From 2009-2011, he was Editor at Nepali Times, and he is the Founder Editor of La.Lit, a literary magazine from Nepal. He is the author of the short story anthology Nothing to Declare and the non-fiction history Thamel: Dark Star of Kathmandu. He has a bachelor’s degree in English Literature and Human Geography from Monash University, Australia, and an M.Phil in Environment and Development from the University of Cambridge, UK. He is fluent in English and Nepali, and has a working knowledge of French and Hindi. He is based in Wales.
