Yoshiko Ogushi joined the World Bank Accountability Mechanism Secretariat in November 2022 as a Junior Professional Officer. She assists the Secretariat’s communications and outreach programs, including website, newsletter, and social media channels. She has five years of professional experience in human rights advocacy, working for civil society organizations in Japan and a private law firm in Mexico. She holds MAs in International Law and Human Rights from the UN-mandated University for Peace (Costa Rica) and in Global Politics from the Ateneo de Manila University (the Philippines) where she studied as an Asian Peacebuilders Scholarship fellow.
